Our high quality equipment is well maintained. Though we take every reasonable precaution, the territory in which we operate is remote and rugged wilderness. Weather conditions can be extreme and cannot always be reliably predicted. We share the habitat of bears, wolves, and cougars though they are rarely encountered. Therefore . . .

Packing Hints:
For kayak trips in British Columbia, clothing of synthetic fibres such as nylon and polypropylene are best because they dry qucikly if they become wet. Synthetic fleece materials are also warm, especially when combined with a wind/rain shell. Cotton fibres may stay damp--you probably won't find your blue jeans comfortable in the kayak!
Kayaks have adequate storage space, but the hatch openings are small. Bring several smaller stuff sacks (sleeping bag size is good) rather than one or two large ones.
*A good dry bag can be made by putting a garbage bag inside a regular nylon stuff sack.
