Coast Mountain Kayaking Staff Go To School

Four sea kayak guides from Coast Mountain Expeditions, a kayak tour company in British Columbia will attend a Marine Interpretation weekend in Bamfield hosted by the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre

Sciences Centre's Public Education Program will be holding a weekend marine
interpretation course from Friday, April 1st to Monday, April 4th, 2005. This course is geared towards kayak guides, lodge owners, sports fishing guides and other eco-tourism operators as well as naturalists, budding marine biologists & intrepid beachcombers. The course will be chock-full of beach trips, boat trips & lab activities designed to enhance the participants¬¼ existing knowledge of all matter of marine life in Barkley Sound. From whales to eagles and everything in between, let us teach you about what you see.

Deadline to register is Thursday, March 24th.
However, space is limited, so register soon.

Course Fee including room & board is $298.00 including GST.
(Accommodation is based on double occupancy and participants bring their own sleeping bag (pillow with pillow case will be provided))

Course Fee without room & board is $135.97 including GST.
(Upon giving prior notice, individual meals can be taken in the dining hall at the following prices plus GST. Breakfast $7.50, Lunch $8.50, Dinner $14.00) Fees may be paid by cash, cheque, visa, debit or master card
